The Story
Will awakes in a twin bed in a small, neat and nearly empty apartment. He is being watched.
He suddenly discovers that there is something off about him. He’s not well.
He’s decomposing. And quickly.
Will tries to fend off the decay with a mysterious medication he discovers in the bathroom. He pleads for help to a silent viewer at the other end of the surveillance cameras in the apartment.
But Will soon realizes he’s on his own. And things are about to get worse. For him - and for anyone he crosses paths with on his dark and unsettling journey
The Idea
The Itch explores the fears we all have of death and how far we’ll go to cheat it. Of how grief can illuminate the value of life. And how science can never succeed without the guardrails of our humanity.
